Canine Patrol


Bloodhounds

Bloodhounds are used mostly when elderly or minors walk away from a residence or vehicle. Both bloodhounds live at home with their handlers.

Moe

Moe is a 7 year old Blood Hound. Moe is trained in man tracking, land and water cadaver recovery certified. He is certified through the Eastern States Working Dog Association. Moe has been with the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office since he was four months old. He is currently assigned to a civil officer which give him more flexibility to track in the evenings and at night.

Sherlock

Sherlock is a 4 year old Bloodhound currently assigned to a patrol officer. He is certified through Easter States Working Dog Association in land man tracking. When Sherlock's handler is on duty he can be accessible in a matter of minutes.



Patrol Dogs

Rambo

Rambo is a three year old Dutch Shepherd. Rambo is certified through Eastern States Working Dog Association in patrol/man tracking, article search, building search and narcotic detection. Rambo is proficient in multiple narcotics. All patrol dogs are fierce protectors of deputies and their patrol cars. Sergeant Frank Rose is his handler.

Jekyll

Jekyll is also a three year old Dutch Shepherd who is certified through Eastern States Working Dog Association in patrol/man tracking, article search, building search and narcotic detection. Jekyll is proficient in multiple narcotics. Sergeant Keith Bowling is his handler.
