I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for having the confidence in me to be your Sheriff.
I also thank you for your support of the Sheriff's Office and staff. Since December 2, 2002, our attention has been focused on new challenges. The communities across Caswell County have many needs, and their Sheriff's Office continues to meet this challenge.

On behalf of the men and women of the Caswell County Sheriff's Office, I welcome you to our website. It is our hope that this information serves as a resource for you. The information highlights the many services provided to the residents by the Caswell County Sheriff's Office. We are committed to the improvement of our operations to promote safe and secure communities.

Our partnerships with our schools, churches, businesses, civic organizations, government agencies, and the media have improved the quality of life. We consider it an honor and privilege to serve Caswell County and to partner with you to make our home a safer place to live and to raise a family.

Dear Citizens of Caswell County:

Having been a resident and employee of the Caswell County Sheriff's Office since 1979, I have had a unique opportunity to observe the county of Caswell, as well as the Office of the Sheriff; move forward.

Law enforcement in Caswell County has had to change to meet specific crime trends. Otherwise, some of the older enforcement techniques would not be productive. Change is sometimes difficult and costly. Your sheriff's office has been able to progress with the help of the Caswell County Board of Commissioners and with the assistance of much appreciated state and federal grant funding. These funds have helped develop new and effective crime fighting tools in many different areas.

Sheriff's deputies, as throughout the state, received specialized intensive training mandated by the North Carolina Sheriff's Education and Training Standards Commission. This training is vital to help protect and serve an ever changing society. North Carolina is the only state in the country that has a separate regulatory body-governed only by Sheriffs-responsible for the employment, training, and certification of Sheriffs' personnel.

As a citizen, I am grateful for the efforts to ensure law enforcement in Caswell County is as effective as it can be. I sincerely hope that you can join me in the realization that Caswell County is a great place to live and raise a family. That's why I choose to live here!
